“I was the first in my family to attend university.”

After completing my high school studies, my family and I struggled to raise even the $20 university application fee, and despite reaching out to various institutions for assistance, I was unable to find the help I needed. At that point, university felt like a distant dream.

Now, thanks to iCare Plus, I am in the third year of a four-year Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Mathematics and Computational Science at the University of Zimbabwe.

iCare Plus funded and drilled a borehole in Mutoko District, providing reliable clean water access to three surrounding villages — improving the lives of over 400 people daily.

Chikukwa and Ushe Primary Schools received full sports kits — enough to outfit 3 entire teams. For children who had never owned proper sports equipment, this was more than gear.
